Standing Exercise For Sculpting Abs

The key to sculpting a rock hard abs is doing an effective ab workout. Abs body exercise is one of the best ways to burn stomach fat and get six pack abs. It’s not very easy to do it, but it’s a great way to burn off excess fat and build strong abdominal muscles. If you’re not doing a regular workout that includes a full body exercise then you’re not getting optimal results.

Your body is basically divided into three major groups of your upper, middle and lower abs. You need to focus on each group and do a variety of abs exercise to tone them up. Most people tend to work out their upper body first which weakens their core (since upper body exercises use more of our muscles for movement). This makes it easier for food to slip through the upper abdomen and create problems with the lower abs. You should include some type of lower abs exercises such as crunches, leg raises or a leg extension.

Your middle and lower abs are also prone to fat build up and neglect, so you have to make sure you do a good job both of these areas. You want to do regular squats, crunches and lunges to tone these up as well. Side crunches are also good for sculpting abs. Your obliques (inner and outer) play a large part in your abdominals. You can do tons of crunches but if you don’t isolate the inner obliques you won’t be able to create an effective workout.

To really get a rock hard set of abs you need to start focusing on your body fat and metabolism. Your body fat tells your body what your actual body weight is. You need to be losing at least five pounds of body fat per week to get six pack abs. You should be eating smaller meals more often throughout the day as this will keep your metabolism high. You want to do three meals with your main diet of carbs/ proteins/fats then a smaller snack which equals about three to four ounces of fruit or vegetables then a small piece of fish or chicken.

Your metabolism will not burn calories at the same rate when doing the same exercises each day. The reason you should switch up your exercises is to keep your metabolism burning calories at a steady rate. You don’t want to be doing the exact same exercises over again because that will cause your body to adapt to that kind of effort. So instead you should mix it up. Switch up your exercises to avoid fatigue from one exercise causing your body to shut down for a rest.

When you have your abs toned, you need to do core workouts. Core work is working the larger muscles in your body. The core muscles are located between your legs and between your waist and stomach. There is a lot of “muscle confusion” going on in the stomach area because your abs are attached to other muscle groups. If you were to isolate and target only your abs then it would be much easier to see results. In addition to this, by working your core muscles you will increase your body fat percentage and reduce the body fat around your abs.

One good way to do a standing exercise for sculpting abs is to lie on your back and put your hands behind your head. Then bring your chest up toward your shoulders and push your lower back straight up until it is resting on the floor. You will now be in what is called the T-shaped position. Now bring your legs up toward your chest while staying in the T-shaped position. When you exhale you will push the abs muscles out and when you inhale you will bring them back in.

You want to keep repeating these movements until you feel the muscle burn and the fat melting away. As you progress, you can also focus on certain body parts more than others. For example, if you have lots of stomach fat you can work those specific areas more than other areas. Or you can do exercises that target your obliques more than your core muscles. There are many different programs available that can show you how to create your own routine that suits your own unique needs and goals.
